Me and Gideon (along with everyone else in the chat.) Used to talk about the MIR/Legion all the time. One time I belive we came to the conclusion that the MIR will come in waves so I decided to compile a list in cronological order waves of ships as they first appeared.

First Wave:
Legion Crusier
Legion Transport
Legion Supply

Second Wave:
Legion Enginner
Longhead Dreadnought

Feel free to correct my mistakes that I cant correct right now... @_@
However I also have some humble predictions of some furture crafts, the legion might have.

Some sort of Uber Station that can go as fast as the fastest dread...
Some sort of Corvette or frigate, that the legion would field en masse.
Another dread probaley either a command or missle dread.

Massive Uber Station thing has been thought up as the "Hive Mind" which might take place in the MV at extremely rare intervals.

Big Uber Station at the height of the Mir Waves, and poses an extreme threat to humanity in the MV, maybe the two Human factions ally to combat this, and the K'luth as usual hate the Humans and take this oppurtunity to attack them more openly, as well as defending themselves from the Mir..

Where the hell am I going with this...

i think that the smallest ships they should have would be destroyer-sized.

From what I see right now with their AI,

I would recogmend that they should move in formation and work as a single mind.. more as One. All targeting the same target. They have High lvl refective armor so FF can be minimized.

Groups, (1){Assult}Longhorn(dread) with 2 Legion Cruisers.
(2){Patrol Wing} 3 Mir Legion
(3){Support} Longhorn, Legion, Engi, Trannsport.

Attacking only when their mission objective allows this or this objective has been met.

Missions- Expand boarder by takking worlds.
- Harvesting all the resources collect in the Rich Starports
- converting planets buildings to their Tech
- Infantry that comes incontact with there Drones is turned into drones, and are now a mere cog in the machine.

Actually they sound more like the Shadows from B5 in some respects but use mechanical technology instead of Organic and they arent infinitly superior to human technology... So in other words sounds like the shadows nothing like them and not that much like the borg either... yeah Im going no where with this lol

Anyways I aggree with charz idea of waves although theyd go in with a group of legion cruisers first though... Then comes the long heads with the engineer and supplies and some more cruisers, then they take a holding perimeter around their planet they take and then bring in reinforcements and begin to take more planets in the system...

The problem of the Mir is that once a Admin pulls some out then leaves.. the MIr are just Gaffens.. so whats the point?

the Mir are what drove those bastage Kluth into Human space.. Id rather be UGTO than Kluth anyday.

But Anyways my point is that unless there isnt a Driving force behinde them they are Just mobile dolls.

and I hate mobile dolls...

1. Make them SMARTER. Current AI is dumber then a post.
2. They should spawn in waves automatically...
3. Shipyards! If they capture a shipyard, they begin to use the planet's resources to spawn ships at a very high rate (say one ship every minuite/30 seconds) until the planet runs out of resources, then they procede to take over the entire system. This would mean that players would have it in their best interrest to protect Shipyard planets at all cost.

4. Scrapping. Scrapping would make planets useless for the Mir in realtively short period of time. Thus, if there is a Mir presence around a planet, scrapping should be disabled... It happens to players all the time, and unless you want the MIR to spend long amounts of time rebuilding scrapped planets, this will have to be adressed.

When the MIR appear, everyone somewhat works together to stop them from doing stuff to the metaverse... then they blow each other up when...... I'm just going to shut up now...
