As a follow-up to my last posting, I cannot play the game due to the same initialization error. I am using a voodoo3 2000. Can I get some help?

I think the problem was that when launching the client and connecting to a game the message "Failed to initialize display" appeared and the client just closed.

I've got a voodoo 3000 which I've gotten DS to run under, however I've never tested it under a 2000.

The primary problem with voodoo is that 3dfx is no longer is buiness, so no new drivers. I know they released some DX8 drivers that may still be available at http://www.3dfx.com/downloads.htm

However for the 2000, they only have DX8 version for windows 2000.

I have a vodoo3 2000 card and I have no problem(My Operative system is Win98). But my frend have a vodoo2 card that accelerate a trident card. He has the same problem(crash to desktop with the error: Failed to initialize Display). I wonder if there's another commagnie that has new drivers for vodoo card?

Have fun
