Whats the Current System Requirements for the game.
Sysyem specs:
Intel d845grg
P4 2.0GHz
1GB RAM
ATI RADEION 9000 PRO 64MB
Cable Internet

I only have problems when there are a lot of people or AI's are nearby.
It uses all of my CPU and I only get 1-5 FPS
have the servers been downgraded since 2009?
2009 is when i started playing i had no problems then

Devs implemented visual improvements to the games. Your graphics card may be behind the curve.

I have the same problem on a different desktop
Specs:
AMD 1.8GHz
1GB RAM
ATI EXPRESS 200 256MB

It's 3 years. Your hardware simply don't operate as well as it did.

HEY!!!!
i got 640MB of Ram
2.0Ghz P4
and a 64Bit card.
i get a AAMAZING 2.0FPS or less in big battle's 1 on 1 i can clock 30 on minimum settings and in scen i can run on max settings and get 30-40Frames course i get major Desynce where there is a dread blasting the crap out of me and i can't see it just the damage i am reciveing.
It just beat's the crap outa me then i die useually. :#

Turn down all the details. Graphics Detail on high disables LoD, and will render all models at full on scene.

I have similar hardware and encouter the same problem.
My solution is to turn off and set 0% every graphics setting and play in WINDOW mode at low resolution.
Btw, you should know that your computer tends to runs more slowly when its heat gets higher. So that normally runs the game long time results great latency with weak computer.

Winter's over im gona be less active in general. the heat will make it crash and barely beable to do the simplest things so if im on at all i'll be on late at night

i have the same problem and my system is pretty close to yours just a lil bit more ram and i instaleed a new graphic card and it did fine but they upped the graphics then it went crappy on me again. hopefully the new release will help my low frame rate computer. btw all settings are as low as i can get them and i can play in scenerio just fine and in the procryon server but orion i just get real low fps in battle. haven't figured out what the difference is but it's something.

THIS PROBLEM IS SOLVED WHAT EVER YOU ALL DID TO THE SERVERS NEVER TOUCH THEM AGAIN. 20 SHIPS WERE AROUND ME AND NO LAG AND GOOD FPS.
