Client crashes at splash screen |

Just installed the game, and when it gets to the "Palestar" splash screen, the client locks up. Only the game, not GCQL.
My specs:
Dell Inspiron 1525
Windows 7 x64 Retail
2.0GHz Core 2 Duo
4GB DDR2
Intel GMA 965/X3100 graphics
I'm assuming it's an issue with game/card incompatibility, as many 3D games work flawlessly on this computer. Hopefully someone can help, as this game looks very interesting, and I'm eager to try it.

Right click on the Darkspace icon and select the compatibilty tab and tell it to run in windows XP sp3.
Since I did that I don't crash or freeze anymore with my windows 7 pro x64

How long did you wait after the lock-up? also, you might try running in windowed mode see link below for help with running setup:
