i cant log in the game no matter what! i did the folowing
1: press update and let game update and press play.
2:I downloaded my video card and reset the computer and same with directx!
3: im using a router.
4: i have a gforce nvidia card.
5: i lowered the settings
This is what happens when i attempt to get in the game after selecting a server and hitting play.
the screen goes black. my cursor turns into an hourglass. the game doesnt stop loading after a couple minutes. and i cant log in.

Ahh you have a router...
Other people who can get into the Chat client but not into the game itself have needed to enable ports 9000-9010 on thier router to get DS working properly. It's more than likely the router that is preventing you from loading the game properly.

Draf, I helped him figure out he had a router last night.. he cant get into the settings.. we tried.. the username and password are not default anymore, whoever set it up put the password on it. So until he gets permission, he cannot play(since he needs the password)

I only ahd the problem with rooters at my dads, it only stoped people from joining my servers, but never stoppedme from playing the real DS ones...

There should be a reset button on the back of the router thats all i could find out hold it for 30 seconds and everything should work
