ok when i try to get into a lobby server, it either gets to a black part then just gets out of the game, or it says unknown error in client.exe, plz help!

try to be helpful nub...btw he does have 2 problems...he can't spell problem.seriously though i dont know if this will help but try deleting the darkspace folder and redownloading from darkspace.net

or instead of redownloading just uninstall it and reinstall it like a normal person.

Before you dirty liittle trolls decide to run up your post counts by being pricks, check out the post count of the thread starter. In particular when they are having troubles getting the game to actually run.
First I would make sure you downloaded the most recent copy of ds. And then maybe running clientsetup.exe to make sure you have a compatible video mode.

Actualy pants I spent the good deal of 2-3 hours helping this player on MSN today.
So maybe perhaps you should get your mouth out of the gutter and wash it with soap before bringing language like that on the forum again.

I think maybe most of you..those that had nothing worth saying.. should just let the mods and admins deal with probelms...Yes, I know, some of you know a LOT more than me and some of the other mods...none the less, this is our job and all the snide remarks, rude comments and bickering ARE NOT needed. Then theres the language. Want a ban, keep that up and I will give it to you!
Now..to the problem. Several of the things that were suggested might work. Check your install version. Uninstall and reinstall the client. Use the setup. make sure ALL your drivers are up to date AND you have the latest DX version.
Finaly, ignore those that are rude here. Some of us have yet to learn to keep quiet!
