You'll have to describe your error in more detail.

We can't really help you unless you elaborate a little. It's kind of hard to combat "Unknown Errors"

Everytime I try to play DarkSpace not matter what my settings on. There is always a Display Error behind it. Yesterday I finally found out it was my Directx 9.0. It was having some sort of 3D error I don't know how to fix it. I tried everything I could ,but nothing helps.
Everything comes up windowed....

Are your drivers updated?
Did you recently upgrade DX?
Did DS work fine before?

The problem is an old graphics card and out of date drivers!

blame staff... thats what i do
if that fails... click control panel, then performance and maintanence, then system, then the hardware tab, then the device manager button...
then expnd the display adapter and other relavant devices, right click then, select properties, then the driver tab... then driver details.... write down the driver and Google an update..
this is all assuming you have XP.. and yeah.. it's a long process but it's the only way i know how to get to that screen

The quick way is to right-click My Computer, Properties, Hardware, Device Manager...etc. You can either right click the Desktop icon, or if you dont have it, right-click the My Computer Icon in the Start Menu.

my question would be does your card support dx 9.0?
it might be to old to use it.....

Update DX if you already havnt done so (to 9.0c, download it and install it agian to make sure, it wont let you if you have it already).
If your graphics card is an ATI make head to http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html , if its nvidia go to http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp and download the drivers.
Thats all I can think of.
