been trying to get darkspace to work over a lan proxy but ive had no success, it will find the servers but will not connect

plz can someone help!

you are not very specific about your Problem, I'll shoot a few hints, come back if they are not right.

First of all I assume by lan proxy you mean a hardware router? You have to deal with some issues:

1) Network Adress Translation: You probably use IP's of the private class networks, which is ok, but you need to tell the Proxy, that it should forward the appropriate ports (9000 - 9100) to the machine running the Server. Ohterwise none can connect from the outside.

2) You got a lan firewall? Be sure that you open / allow same portrange to that servermachine as well.

3) Maybe there is a "personal" firewall on the machine running the server. Be sure that it allows connects to the approriate ports.

Ok, try these, or try to be more specific about your setup and the problem.
