Hope this helps big F to see if this problem is related to certain video card hardware/software(driver)
ONLY post your info if you do have problems with font since todays patch

Just go to SETUP before you hit play and unclick ALPHA fonts.
I had same problem and someone told me to do this. It looks just like it used to now =)

I don't give up the hope that you will tell us your Video card data.
Increases the probability that F can fix that problem and ALL of us can use the better fonts.
They do look cool, trust me.
I have a machine where it works.

It's a riva TNT2 ultra 32 (32 I think? I cant remember) with latest drivers cuz I had to reinstall them after d/l'ing this game

I'm running an ATI Rage 128 32MB card, I unclicked the alpha fonts in the setup menu and it STILL doesn't work.. FAQ says try going into your display menu in control panel and changing an option under your DirectX tab..I don't HAVE that tab.. So it looks like I'm screwed..
