I think i just fixed this for myself ... copy displayd3d.dll from your darkspace install directory and put the copy into your windows/system32 folder
NOTE: if running Windows 7 64-Bit place a copy in c:/windows/system32 and also c:/windows/SysWOW64/
This resolved the exit out of darkspace displayd3d.dll error
Hope it helps some other person with same problem

Marking GCQL.exe and DarkSpaceClient.exe with administrator rights and installing DirectX 9.0c (even if you have 11) will solve the issue.
It's to do with DirectX 9L, which is a wrapped loaded by 11 which emulates DirectX 9. It's superior in some ways, but no so in others. For example, in older games simply exiting the game will end the DirectX functions, calls, etc. There doesn't need to be an elegant shutdown or exit. Installing DirectX 9.0c will place the correct files in the system32 folder.
It doesn't mean anything other than the application has ended before the rendering calls have finished, as far as I can tell (so there's nothing to reply back to). It would require a lot of work to fix it, and proper configuration should solve the problem anyway.
Easiest way is to either do as stated above, or simply ignore it. [ This Message was edited by: Pantheon on 2013-07-17 17:58 ]
