as a builder i was wondering why does this game have lvl3 stuff of everything (execpt fighters) but not of population buildings. i find this odd wouldn't it be better to make stuff like sky high appartments and lvl3 domes to make building better.

Population is kept intentionally low as a limiting factor on buildings. If we had level 3 domes that could hold, say, 30 people, you'd only need a few of them vs 8 or 10, meaning you could get much more effective defense, repair, etc. Its just a simple way to keep all planets from being death stars and present a bottleneck on building.

They could implement that but that will just result in rethinking all requirements of all other buildings.
e.g. shipyard might require 120 population : 4x 30-population high density dome.
It would make it interesting from a building point of view.
But the intention of DarkSpace is around Ship to Ship combat.
So lets keep the one simple hub, until we get a larger player base where this might be interesting to add.
