Dont know if its been sed, but here I go
ICC suplys that can atualy last more than 3 seconds on the feild
Like the point defence but gatling gun style lasers
laser cannons that fire a bolt of energy and have a slow recharge(like snipers)
Some way to knock lobsters out of cloak
when system dammage is cause the item responds to the % left thats not dammaged
introducing X Y Z axis
if a system gets compleatly dammaged it can't be queed into repair
(deports/sup only heal)
If the engines get compleatly trashed the ship can not move at all, 50% dammage meaning that there is only 50% speed avalible
Police(mods/admins controle) to make sure ppl playing fair(over sized ships like dubble the size of earth?)
let luths use the mouth beams
missile batterys( somthign like 5-10 missiles per battery)
Anti missiles(missile-missile combat) beam PD saved for close range
mobile shipyards(also tug boats to pull ships into dock) humm what else OH YEH
Super weapons atualy been super...like an ion cannon that fires DBZ style and the ball covers like 5kGU anyting in that arear either dies or gets dissabled
Future ships with modern day weapons. Like an event were ships do shell to shell combat
VISABLE WEAPONS....were do the beams and weaps come from.....the center of the hull O_o no launchers? no nothing

We're looking at all the ships (as is stated everywhere), supplies will never be rock hard, but they're not paper-thin either. Don't expect to be able to take more than two alpha's from a dreadnought. You're meant to be protected, and work in a team.

It's no difference, just a change in the graphic. Drafell was looking at a gattling like "pulse laser" weapon (essensialy the same, but different graphic).

We already have those (particle cannons).

It already works like this. More damage = longer reacharge times.

We already have an X & Y axis. DarkSpace won't be adding the Z axis in the forseeable versions.

I don't see any real reason for this. It would also make flux overpowered.

It already works like this, but it locks down how much you can (de)accelerated.

I don't quite understand your suggestion here. People are allowed to use dreadnoughts against smaller ships to kill them, it's quite hard - but they're allowed.
We have a few scripts that can spawn AI around planets if it detects enemies nearby, but we don't have the server resources to really spawn this everytime there's an enemy nearby a core planet.

They're Gaifen only weapons, so no.

No. This removes the hot-spot shipyard planets. We like these.

No, we're nerfing the core weapons heavily. We will never impliment a weapon like this in DarkSpace, so deffinately no.

Why? This is the future... They have weapons that do a zillion times the damage as a "shell".

This would require quite a change to both models, and the graphics engine to support this type of thing. Plus a lot of graphical content to be added to the game.
We have neither the time, nore model people to do this kind of thing.

Sorry but most of these *LOOKED* cool, but when you think about it they don't work.

And many of the weapons already to have a dedicated point somewhere on the hull where they emerge. Look at the heavy beams on ICC dreads for instance. The launcher is just protected by the hull plating & armor is all.
