I was talking to some other BUMs about previous versions and past ideas. I was told of this thing called grouping where you could share the prestige you were earning with those who were helping you earn it.
I was wondering if there is any chance it might be brought back, there is strong support from the people I was talking with and myself for the idea.
As K'luth we are supposed to "hit and run" often it will be one ship that gets the armour down and the other that hits the hull, this means that only 1 ship gets the pretige when both have done as much work. (just a small example)
Could anyone elaborate further for me on how it worked and why it was removed or of any possible return to the system.

The current idea that is being bandied about is that when grouping returns, you will automatically be grouped with your fleetmates. This would give a material advantage and puspose to being in a fleet.

Sounds like a good idea

That seems better than no grouping at all. Through it also seems that it might cause trouble with multi-fleet task forces. Also I'd hope they would make sure that pres is only shared with fleet members in the same system, wouldn't want folks just hanging back gaining pres.

Would probably be implemented in a similar way to the '/yell' function.
