well i logged into beta for the first time. modded out a sweet ac... and i now have a couple gripes.

1: please add a slot choice button. i hate screwin with slot placement.
2: when items are in your cargo bay, have some way to tell what level they are
3: in the starports, have the shields group with shields, engines with engines... see where im going?


Oh ya, beam issue. while i was messing with slot placement i came across a problem where i couldnt right click some beams. only a couple clicked. ok i guess ill mod them later right?

well a critical ussie that came from this, well ill let some pictures talk.

this is after thirty seconds of fireing.

this is after ten minutes. (hasnt stopped yet)

this is the problem reduplicated (from outside 'maximum' range)

this is the same instance as the one above, but i turned the ship like 120 degrees.



so there you have it. has this been seen before? to reduplicate the problem i right mouse clicked on my beams untill i couldnt select certain ones anymore, then quickly upgraded my heavy's to max level.


im sure how far heavy beams are suppost to fire, but when i first targetted my manual target, there werent able to fire.

and the beams being located on the planet is not too fun.

You need to enter a shipyard hwen your ship is fully moded to fix this problem at current.

I find that when I can't right click on a weapon or something, a quick alpha strike will free everything up. Not too sure wtfs going on in your case

I THINK next to each weapon in star port or in cargo or in the corner there whould b a little (1) for example if its a level 1 weapon








what yaz think ?

any other known unfixed issues?

like the enter shipyard and ship dissapears bug? good thing i read about the escape trick.


someone should write on the front page of beta "Known issues, if this happens: Do this"


and at the top of my post.... one two three... those arnt bugs, just lack of features =)

I had the same problem with my beams continuosly firing - I waited 2 minutes and they never stopped.
