Its probably just my old slow pc but..

After selecting a faction: when I first select a ship it takes over 30 seconds for it to display in the picture box, the whole game freezez while it loads the graphics? And during this the sound is chopy. Then its fine again till the next map.

system specs.... hmm...
win 2000...
P3 something?
327,152 KB ram...
