I've been messing around with various weapon effects.

With torps, I really am only doing the projectiles and the hit effect for the am torp (doesn't look unique enough to me).

Here are some samples, hope you like them.

Gideon, I could be alone in this statement, but I in the kind of mind that thinks that those torps are a little too huge. Not the torp itself, but the glow around the torpedo, maybe if you cut down on it and kept it to a smaller glow, but keep the size of the torp, it might be cooler. Though I really like the current Ptorps, maybe you could make them more like those?
Oh and what is that green explosion in #7?

yeah a bit too flashy, something more like actual torpedos would be nice(you know the things they fire from submarines)

Glow is big intentionally.

It's sized for the upcoming large torps.

The green ring flash shield thingy that people are seeing is actually a sort of shockwave effect from the AM torp impacts. Makes more sense when in-game.

BTW, torps like real world torpedoes are MISSILES. The torpedoes in this game are glowing energy-ball thingies. Pure fiction.

I like to think that the red glow is the energy being released as tiny, tiny fractions of the Antimatter react with atoms of matter and annhilate. Very nice looking, overall.

Just a thought but I would like to see maybe more of a blue type glow with maybe some small light spikes maybe pulsation? But not like Trek, also I would love to see new detonations for the torps the shockwave for the AM is GREAT hands down. Great work Gid

Edit: I meant bluish for maybe ICC and like 7 for the K'luth AMs, But for ICC I would like to see a cross with 1 and maybe some slightly smaller light rays like from 3.
