As everybody knows, Kluth are losing all Human Technology.
Meaning we get no Cl2ks or Fusion Torps.

Even though this severely limits us in power, we are Ants and we feel we can still own humanity with these new limited ships.

1 Thing however should be changed;
The Cloak. Our faction will now be far more based on hit and run, Our own weapons use up way to much energy for prolonged combat.

So i would to see the cloak returned to its old self, where your signature can onoy go up if your out of energy.
So if someone is running ECCM, he will drain energy trough your cloak untill it hits 0. when it hits 0 your signature will be raised by the ECCM.
Same goes for reloading weapons, you Signature cant go above 0 untill youre out of power.
Of course reloading our energy consuming weapons while cloaked would make us run out of energy even faster.

As much as it pains me....

I agree, get rid of the Cloak all together and abolish the K'luth!

What a great Idea Bart! I fully back your selfless decision to get rid of this now bunked and never liked Faction!

Hopefully I will be seeing you in an Uber-Assault Cruiser any day now!

You can still trade though. And don't forget, humans lose Psi missiles/Psi Cannons/ Am torps etc...

You like that ecm would drain your energy to 0? As much as I liked the old cloak system, I don't like having my energy drained to a point of incapacitation while I can't do anything about it. You get one shot, then they turn on ecm and you can kiss your energy goodbye. I used to hate that.

BUT...I do want cloak changed. Just not to that old one. The old system is worse than the new one. Currently, you're exposed very easily, but you keep your energy. In the old system you'd wind up exposed anyway, PLUS have all your energy drained. Ugh. You might actually want this current system back after going back to that old one. Watch how fast your energy is depleted, and don't even think of approaching an enemy planet expecting to do anything! Those sensor bases = death.

I'll sign Just remove the energy drain and replace with something, well, that's not energy drain and that's not easy anti-cloak (which is what current ecm is) I wanted a system where cloak gave you additional natural negative sig, of like -9 or something. That way, ecm would still work but it would take more than just one.

EDIT: edited slightly cuz I got it backwards Old cloak is worse than new cloak for current DS game. Why did I say it the other way when this is what I meant?

The new cloak is supposed to be that way anyway, in 1.482. ECCM should have no effect on kluth. But from my understanding, you will be visible after firing for a period of time. If your ships were able to be invisible AND fire until they run out of energy, that would be like a mobile ecm fort, which again, would severely unbalance the game. This will actually make kluth tactics more important than just *jump, mash spacebar, laugh as enemy ship explodes*. Kluth will return to the hit and run faction they were designed to be.
