In BETA the jump-while-in-navscreen dissapeared. I used that option alot and i dont think it should be gone.
For example if your in a combat sitation and want to jump to a planet you have to enter nav, then select a planet, then exit the nav and press 'j'.
The easyer way is the open nav, select a planet press 'j' and sit back and hope you survive.

I agree, I use "J" in the nav screen constantly, especially when Precision Jumping to a planet, or a ship for combat engagment or repair.
I'm with sable on this one, please re-enable this feature if others feel the same way.

Chat system I can get used to, the no jmuping in nav I can't. I keep trying to do it even though I know I can't (yet).

I'm sure this is just a bug, as logically the best place to monitor and control long distance travel would be the nav screen.
