It's too easy to avoid being killed by switching ships at a shipyard. Your enemy can easily prevent his death by choosing and rechoosing a new ship. It happened today...a battle cruiser that was damaged by my team just got a new one every few minutes. If a player already has a bunch of ships waiting in his garage, he can keep doing this without using up any resources.

Seems abusable to me. So here's what I suggest *FOR SCENARIOS ONLY*: Make shipyards a spawn-location only. Don't allow switching of ships at them I (it's necessary for them to be able to switch in the MV). In scenarios, have the JG be the only way to switch ships. In other words, the shipyard is exit-only.

Of course, camping of shipyard planets will be a problem either way. If your faction's only shipyard is camped by the enemy, you may be poop out of luck. But you can't just pop out of the shipyard, attack, pop back in, get a new ship, and repeat. You will have to make sure you have multiple shipyards scattered about, or settle for frigates. And by goodness, don't let the enemy get to a point where they can camp your shipyards!

Oh I see what you mean. I was hoping it was simply a matter of disabling the Change Ships button for the shipyard. If it's not that simple, then I guess I have to scrap this idea.

Maybe this prob will be solved soon. Someone told me they want shipyards to have somekind of build queue in which players will have to wait in a line until their ship is going to be build. But this upgrade could take some time

How about a timer say waiting time.

10 secs when no ships is around
30 secs when nmy is around.

Ooh Hitokiri I like that idea. Who told you that?

You know, with a change like that the scenario servers will need a time limit increase. No way a 2-hour map is gonna be fun.
