Ok so we have reactive and active shields either stronger or faster recharge but what about another class of shields for Dreads and up ? a sort of active shield on drugs if you will i was thinking of something like ~

+5-15% increase in resistance
+10-25% Hp
+10-15% increase in normal shield recharge drain
+20-25% increase in Defence mode recharge drain

Pros:
Stronger sheilds that last longer

Cons:
Shields will use far more energy to recharge in both modes

Any other thoughts please post and constructive cretinism please

Why only the dreads?
simply because in mine and a few others opinion they are what are weakest icc crusiers and bvelow are fine but when you more to dreads and above they become weaker and slower and easyer to get at therefor i hope this or another suggestion will help to balance this.

Edit: before some one post well just stay at range and icc are fine what about the AD its an assualt dread it has not very good longf range weps tbh if the case is range why not make the Combat Dread the icc assualt dread and beef out its long range weapons ?

idk, might be a good idea, but the devs might say they are fine as is. any second opinions?

and here is the exact same post but with better punctuation:

Why only the dreads?
simply because in the opinion of me and a few other people they are what are the weakestICC ships. ICC crusiers and below are fine but when you are using dreads and above they become weaker and slower and easyer to get at there for i hope this or another suggestion will help to balance this.

Edit: before some one posts something like 'well just stay at range and icc is fine', what about the AD? Its an assualt dread it doesn't have a very good long range weapons. tbh if the case is range why not make the Combat Dread the icc assualt dread and beef out its long range weapons ?

As an answer on your questions: as far as I know, each type of ship already has a 'class' designated to it, each class gives certain benefits to the gadgets they have. A dread class ship has heavier armour, making it slower, the same armour also has higher health, despite the fact that a frigate and a dread both use composite armour.

While I'm not exactly opposed, nor am I for this, your reasoning is flawed.

Yours sincerely,
Demigan.

those are some extreme numbers dude. If you want better defense on your dreads, get some def ehs. This counters the Ugto defense stacks and Makes your dread into a tank

Shields and Armor already increased in strength for each class (going upwards).

Please do your research before you post a suggestion.
