Beta (1.671?) keeps freezing |

On the ICC side, client tends to freeze when there's a lot of action going on and I'm pressing space bar. Seemed to freeze in the middle of explosions.
Seems like maybe the client freezes if a destroyed ship drops resources?
Also, I get an error popup when first starting beta, but I can just cancel it and play as normal.
If it helps, I'm using an ATI Radeon 4650 HD

do you have shaders enabled? that might be the problem.
EDIT: im trying to say your video card MIGHT not support shaders. i understand thats a good video card (alot better than mine actually) but still.

Beta is not stable at the moment due to non-finished systems being checked in.
