Currently the shielding for icc is well "like wet paper" i mean ok we can rotate power but to a faction that use sheilds instead of vast ammounts of armour there pritty bad and with ugto having there armour buffed icc could do with sheild's being buffed some what now ide suggest just a 10-20% increase in strenght this would also help compansate for the icc -10% weapon damge.

When I play ICC, I don't even bother rotating my shields any more. Just play like UGTO and rotate your ship.

rely on jump drive and not shields or armor. U will die far less....

yeh but to rely on jd isnt really that good when u can be follwed and or want to fidht i mean the ads sheilds are really poor

ICC shields are fine. We are able to regnerate them quickly and cover any holes in our defense.
a parasite can hull a HC in two alphas if the HC does not rotate shields.
It takes seven alphas to hull a HC if we do rotate.
a BC(UGTO) is hulled in 3 alphas from a parasite.
9 alphas and a BC(border cruiser) is stripped of all its armor.
10 alphas and a HC is stripped of all its shields and armor.
seems low, but then we can regenerate our shields quickly too...
UGTO specialized armor out preforms shields when dealing with specialized damage, but again, shields outlast armor in the long run through regeneration.
What your experiencing is that shields go away REALY fast now. The other two factions are dealing with the same issue, exept without being able to regenerate their defiense as fast.

The other two factions also do a TON more damage then ICC does.

maybe increasing hp and energy consumption of active shields could help. tradeoff could be removal of energy and psi resistance from active shields. that way we have a strong shield and a regenerative shield as options.
also ammo constraints on cannons are getting annoying if they are supposed to be dealing damage over time...can atleast gauss gun lose ammo limits?
on the other hand i think particle cannons should get ammo limits on it. that should help stop the ugto gunships from firing forever with no substantial issues and dealing good damage (nemesis and lithium im looking at you). [ This Message was edited by: Inactive-002 on 2011-08-21 05:13 ]

All that needs to be done is give the shields a 10-20% more go an maybe a lol more resistance because of the damage nerf.

yeh i mean im not talink lie loads but just enough to make it usefull to have sheilds i mean 4 si pritty much put a active sheild arc lower than 75-80% i mean thats a big blow all at once.

true, but i just got an idea. instead of making the shields stronger, make them have faster regen. not too much though, dont want to make it unfair.
