*sigh* p2 we all tell you to use JD but you insist on useing WH but thats ok we stiil got ya coverd no one really usees them any more so the devs and ppl in charge prob wont work on it for a while sorry

i dont know much bout the worm holes in this game but p2 is right they seem not to work most of the time i was watchin it i cud see them sometimes and sometimes i kudnt and those times i knew they where there cuz i saw it for a split secound i asume thats when it opened but then it just dissapered

WHs not working IS the reason no one uses them. Think about it why use something that barely works when there is an object that does similar and workes all the time

I am sure they are gonna fix worm holes when the new station layouts are released, i also am hoping for the higher ranged worm holes back i mean whats the point if they only are good for insystem usage.

Worm holes don't fail as much as you think. I use them in all my stations over jump drives and people will tell you how annoying it can be.

With that being said wormholes do have the capability of 'not working'. There is a simple fix and that is to exit the game and restart it. While this only takes about 15 seconds for me (tops) it might take longer for you and while you're not in the game you cannot make vital tactical changes.

If you cannot see the wormhole I would assume it is because of a packet loss between you and the server as the AI can see it and still use it.
If you move over a wormhole that you cannot see then you actually get moved to the new location where the exit is rather than keep going. You will appear to keep going and not go through the wormhole further screwing with your gaming experience.

Until the new changes get deployed I would suggest you use the jump drive unless you are 'ok' with wormholes not working 100% of the time.

WH used to work, they were too precise, and were used offensivly to "fish"

A solution for thier "brokeness?" may not be as simple as everyone thinks.

uhm no, i like them as they are now, except ya know...if they worked...thatd be nice too.

but being able to send enemy FAR FAR away make them Very usefull at times, and even if it doesnt save your life its pretty funny.

One way doesnt sound good, what if the Velocity bug (or w/e its called) send you through? what then? may aswell still be broken.


Ray i have no idea what to say for you, i dont want to start a flame war and call you an idiot or anything coz thats plain not nice and not helpfull.
i will however tell you bringing this back up is usefull as WH drives are making a comeback, Ignoring the drive completely, something that adds a new level to gameplay is just silly.

i cant beging to describe why, my mids blankning, like when you know something is soo simple yet the other person just cant grasp what is being said and you struggle yourself for a good analogy.

i feel like that alot in these forums and especially now.

1 - I think if it does not work should not exist otherwise must be fixed.
2 - Fishing is just coincidence, "wh" is exact between 0 and 3000 for accuracy and that is not under discussion.
3 - would be nice to have comments from the developers, always comment on other issues, why not this?

only problem with it only working for friendly ships, is that a station would prettymuch get outta jail free card .
