I'd like to have a "Remove Enhancements - Button" in my ship-selection-screen.

what should it do ?
- it should remove all of the enhancements the current selected ship have and put em back into storage
- removed enhancemets should keep their current health, or maybe they loose 1 health for removing it

why should it be done ?
- people who use credits, they paid for, to buy them
- once you scrap your ship (for any reason) that money is wasted, and you get nothing from it
- when ship-layout get changed all the used enhancements you put in it, might be useless

limits ?
- only enhancements that can be bought
- if there is a penalty for removing them, and the health gets to 0, the enhancement is destroyed
- only possible if there is enough space in storage

If there is a penalty,
how will non-durability enhancements get affected?
such as zlarrs, benchford, makkars, exaust, ect.

PS-I think the only nonbuyable enhancement is tharis

I second this motion.

For uniques they could be set as non tradeable once used on a ship, you'd be able to remove and use them on other ships you own but you wouldn't be able to sell/trade them to someone else later on.

just putting it together:

- add flag for enhancements "is_tradable"
- add button (Remove Enhancements) in ship selection-screen ->
-- check space in storage
-- remove all buyable enhancements from selected ship
-- reduce duarability by one
-- set "is_tradable = false" for (unique) enhancemets without durability
-- put enhancements back into storage
