I will be throwing out weapons ideas for each faction, but first I am starting off with ICC. I will try to come up with Tier 1, 2, and 3 weapons for each faction.
New ICC Specific Weaponry
Name: Disperse Slug Cannon (DSC) (Tier 3)
Available to: Combat Dreadnought
Ammo Count: 26
Damage Type: Kinetic
Cool Down Rate: 0.10
Minimum Range: 0 GU
Maximum Range: 500 GU
Description: Commonly known “Shotgun”, this weapon can deal considerably heavy damage at close range combat. Each slug is design split into multiple pellets that punch holes in the hull and deal considerable damage to interior of the ship.
Pros:
-- High damage
-- AOE Damage
-- Heavy Damage to Hull
Cons:
-- Light damage against armor
-- Doesn’t got a long range
-- Only Equips on Port and Starboard
Name: Scrimmage Assault Missiles (SAM) (Tier 3)
Available to: Missile Cruiser, Missile Dreadnought
Ammo Count: 52
Damage Type: Thermal
Cool Down Rate: 0.03
Minimum Range: 200 GU
Maximum Range: 600 GU
Description: Rapid firing missiles that deal light damage. Design during the scrimmages against the UGTO, this missile is meant to chase off intruders instead of dealing lethal damages.
Pros:
-- DOT Damage
-- Very Fast Moving
-- Great in Scrimmages
Cons:
-- Light damage against hull
-- Doesn’t have long range
-- Not very good for excessive combat

Ok, honest opinion since you asked Alan.
DSC:
The idea itself sounds interesting, if a bit unfit for ICC's long range focus.
SAM:
We already have Sabots, which are fast firing missiles that do light damage, and they're pretty much the weakest weapon in the game. These don't sound like they'd be much better, especially with only doing damage to armor and almost nothing to hull.

A cannon with multiple pellets is not going to be good for the server's projectile-collision system. The developers want to reduce projectile counts.
A missile does not get thermal damage because they are kinetic and AoE damaging weapons. It will not get 52 ammo count because even ARs get only 35 missiles per missile bay.
If you suggest a weapon that does not have multiple projectiles and does not go outside its expected damage types, then the developers may think over your suggestions. Hope to see better UGTO and K'luth weapon suggestions.
