A simple idea.
Have three buttons on the planetary screen that allow you to enable Import or Export Resources. You could have both selected at the same time.
What this would allow you to do is set certain planets (like Shipyard planets) to only Import resources, so their res pool can build up, and planets like mining planets you can set only to Export.
Or if you had a planet that was a link in a chain, you could do Import and Export.
That way, players can better manage where resources in a system are going.

Good news Ent.
Jim requested such a feature at 07-05-10 21:53.
But it was to complex to be able to put it in with just two hours of working time.
So it is currently on hold ontill it can be added.
For this reason it is that the latest HOTFIX was added, otherwise i would have liked to see this starport import export myself. But the whine was just to hard to watch.
