Suggestions for New Weapons |

Hello. Most of you might not know me yet, but my name is Mark Dusty Morgan, further known as Alanstar in this game. I usually am a person who is constantly thinking up ways to improve the games I play, either it be minor or an big change that is welcomed. I will start off by naming an few ideas that been floating in my head for you guys to judge and wonder if they be better.
First off the list… Weapons.
Thermonuclear Depth Charges
Faced with an ungoing threat by the K’luth, ICC and UGTO started to share developing technology. One of the first breakthrough in weapon development was the Thermonuclear Depth Charges that are fired blindly into space. They are also equipt with sensitive senors that could detect the cloaked Kluth and then explode, doesn’t require an target system.
Havoc Missiles
These missile split into multiple missiles that blanket the target ship. With an long reload time, they do very lttle damage with single missile, but massive damage when all missiles hit. So the havoc missiles work simular to a shotgun blast? That could come handy for finding cloaked ships.

They will track and split at an certain range. Can only be fired two at a time.

so there homing mines that when released ping a luth ship and try to move in that direction.
Sounds nice but given the fact that a mine move slower then a Torpedo i don't see how this weapon might hit. and no we won't give ANY weapon a cloak detector.
Havoc Missiles
Just wait until the new missiles are in the game completely. In addition we want to reduce missile amounts and sorts so a Multi warhead missile or Swarm missile system won't be a great idea.

Have you ever thought about adding a shock and awe weapon, or atleast an event for a current weapon. Somthing that when fired you just kinda... ya know... crap.

Well pd is useless as missle vanish at about halfway towards you. I see the missle coming at 2.7k gu away, at 2k gu it disappears from view until they hit me.
