"A small warhead with a device to create a devastating AntiMater/Mater explosion in a small, concentrated area on impact.
Because of the special mounting-points it can only be equipped on scouts and frigates"

Details:
- luth-equivalent to new human scout/frig missles
- "missle" so it can be shoot dow with PDs
- slow moving so everything smaler than a dread can simply run away
- bad (but unlike normal torpedos) tracking abilities
- heavy hitting (should make more than just a dent into a dreads armor/hull)
- realy short range
- limit to small ships only (scouts, maybe frigs)
- limited ammo
- small fireing arc (front)
- maybe high sig

Pros:

- dmg should be realy high (if it realy hits something)
-- oneshot a scout / maybe frig sitting still somewhere in space
-- hulled dessy (if it hits)
-- cripple quite some armor of a cruiser (if it hits)
-- make more than just one dent to a dreads armor / hull
-- even stations should notice the punch (maybe 5% of the hitted armor ?)

- the missle itself migh need more than 1 HP, depending on the real strength of the torpedo, so it can't be oneshot by PDs (maybe 2...3 hit depending on beam-strength ?)

Cons:

- range realy close (100-250 gu maybe)

- the speed should be something around 20gu/s
-> dreads / stations can't, but everything else can run away (whats the normal speed for cruisers btw ?...)

- once the missle missed its target, it shouldn't be able to realign before it self-destruct (maybe similar to a dreads turning spead)

- amount:
-- missle-scouts should have 1 or 2 launcher (1 launcher: in an arc downwards // 2 launcher: in an arc sideways)
-- missle-frigs should have 2-3 launcher (2 launcher: in an arc sideways // 3 launcher: 2 in an arc sideways one upwards (like a claw;)))

- ammo should be limited to 4-5 shots each

- long cooldown (20sec ?)

- you have to be in PD-range to fire

- small to none AOE-damage

so, thats from my side, you can now start to argue, why this is a bad idea =P
