i think it would be a great feature if buildpods could repair damaged builings on a planet like after a bomb raid or if someone tried to raze a building.
on another note :
where is the logic that a bunch of infs still can raze a building while a pile of infs are protecting it, isnt it logic that the enemy infs fist have to kill the defending infs before they can reach the building they are supposed to raze. just a thought
and another thing about the mass dropping feature
grim found out last time when i mass dropped him and i alse encountered it when i was mass dropped that when we've crosed the icc home gate
grim was going from cas to sag and i from sag to cas that our infs turned to our own faction eg:
grim was boarded with icc inf when he gated they turned into kluth infs
and when i was boarded with kluth infs they turned into icc infs

well generally its a matter of "who gets there first." If infantry defending the planet haven't even reached a building, what logic allows them to defend it? They have to siege it, as technically, troops razing the building(ironically) have the defensive bonus.

You know.. you just talking about inf takes me back in time..
The ability to Drop inf on Selected Hexes on the planet.
Dropping inf on a structure with the Order to Defend or Raze would help a lot!
Enemy infantry of course have a high chance to miss there intended landing target...
e.g. landing in the vicinity of the target or just one hex beside it.
would give a little more tactics back to infantry planet deployments.

if you are inside a building, you can blow it to hell no matter who is on the outside.

Perhaps it would be better if it was only available on non-blockaded planets?

think were missing the point here
1) i was trying to suggest it would be a great feature for the build pods of a engi that could repair damaged building on planet after a raze
and 2
grim and i found out when we mass dropped eachtother and we've crossed the sag/cas server gate the enemy infs turn into friendly infs

It is on topic.... I'm all for the build pods and repair, but it should take resources in addition to drones. As for the massdrop-gate bug; if you haven't reported it already, do so. I'm sure its a simple fix.
