I've noticed quite a drop in the speed of the cursor in-game, before I was able to fully reach end to end of the game screen in one swoop of my mouse pad, now it takes a few slugs. My mouse settings have not changed. I figure its probally because the game requires more powa' to render now, or it has been purposely reduced. Can the mouse be accelerated? Or implement a mouse sensitivity option for the game? Anyone else have problems with it?

Background loading when the game starts. Give it 2-5 minute, it'll stop.

Yes it does Leo.
Processing power can poll CPU time from USB ports and the like, meaning the mouse, etc, can seem lagged behind.
I have the same problem for 5 minutes in-game.

Yea, it just takes longer for me, but that is the reason. Is there anyway it can be run on a seperate thread at a medium priority? It's not really an issue, but on the annoyance factor, it is kind of a pain, but no problem, atleast I know what it is now.

To be fair, after re-reading your post - it seems like your mouse is failing to provide hardware acceleration to DS... Have you tried updating your mouse software?

nah its just the background loading or w/e. Just takes abit longer for me due to my computer setup, it does return to normal full mouse speed after.
My mouse is up to date on drivers, and its a 2.4 ghz wireless, 2000 dpi Laser 6.4 megapixels a second mouse.
Like I said, its fine now because I know it goes away, but it is something that could use an improvement on, at a minor priority.

i have it to, just not that long. But then again, it means that at the start, i practicly cant use my mouse, one swoop is about one ship further in ship selection screen:p
