I just thought that for after 484 it would not hurt to try to implement a ship building segment of the game where the player watches in 3rd person view there ship being built for say 20s or so...

Just a suggestion I just thought it might be cool to try to do.

Nice idea but giving the current progress of 1.484 i would say lets consider this in beta when 484 is done.

How about this... insted of just spawning a ship.. you select one, push ok and you have an edit menu with the shipyard in the background (with said ship docked in it while its under construction) this menu allows you to mod the ship before hand to a degree so you SPAWN modded ;P saves time and lets you jump right into the action.


I hink this is a beter idea then just sitting there for 20 seconds.. have a moving background showing the ship class and model you selected getting built ;P people walking about (wold be nice but optional) and construction units or drones buzzing about

hmm freelancer style.
I won't say i'm not against it but it will need some coding and design to do this.
But i remember somthing of the verryverry old repair window, if only i could find a picture..

But keeping in mind the development of future ship selections.
There might if implemented come a blueprint system instaid of a garage, but off-play modding of those blueprint whould be a good idea.
