Your calculations are very true, that is alot for the server to keep up with. However, cloud bombing shouldn't be any more restricted than it already is. It is impossible or at the least extremely hard to penetrate a well defended, and shielded planet if you target different buildings. Then again, If we had some kind of super bomb that had 10x times the power of a conventional bomb and had a ecm attached to it, we wouldn't need to drop as many bombs

Actually, he's referring to the 1.480 bombing code, which was nerfed due to it overloading the servers. His suggestion is actually going a little more towards the way bombing USED to be, which was more fun and strategic in many players views.
I agree with the suggestion for the record. A great idea indeed. Not sure how much coding work it would take, but i suggest looking into it.
