How about a new answer to suggestions?


Anyways, I believe that effects were removed because they were too graphics intensive, and caused gfx lag.

We've had this discussion before; Faustus has posted that that effect was not as nice as it appeared - it was a bit blocky, and generally tended to bog down everyone's system.

That said, it is rather nice looking in that shot...

Yeah, that's an awesome jump effect. I think it was really slow though, and looked like more of a colorful slideshow when you were jumping.
