Well.. as per usual, i made a half-wit comment about something in the lobby again, And well, something came of it.
Namely recruitment badges, Dragonlord said he wanted new ships, Tael said he wanted new players, Dragonlord was informed he would get new ships if he got Tael new players.
Me being the idiot i am said 'Hey Tael, i got 2 new people definately coming, can i have a Recruiter Badge?'
And well, this is where it stems from!
Basically the idea is this.
It works on the same Badge system as the rest, Bronze Silver Gold,
And the badges are awarded on the merit of Referrals from subscribing players.
Each player that uses you as a referral counts as one Recruitment point,
2 players for Bronze, 5 for Silver, 10 for Gold, or somewhere along those lines.
I think its a good idea, little encouragement for current players to drag friends into this wonderful community and also simply, a new toy to play with!

I referred JackSwift once, after my sub ran out after nearly a year and a half. I entered his name, for the first time, and he was made a Fleet Admiral for seven days. No new player. Voila, half way to Bronze recruiter.
