Well we hated the way it was in the early days of 1481 you had a LIST of planets that had a shipyard, it was iritating and not easy to use since ppl dont know what planet is in what system and where its located.
the minimap was introduced and ppl were a lot happier but i noticed that it was still hard for the new ppl to select the right shipyard due to the fact they dont know where all the planets are.
** suggestion **
introduce the SY list again but as a drop down menu.
this way when a player asks where the action is they can yell use the Ilani shipyard.
The minimap is a great tool to get a good first look of how the situation is, i think that combined whit the list it could be even better.
