Every one surely noticed how fun it is now to switch ships, and therefor when we need to fill up this empty garage... 6 ships moded = 6 LOGOFFs, I think this is a bit too much...
I would be so happy if there was a new icon near the LOGOFF tab called something like LOG SHIP that would throw you to the observe mode with a counter that say how much time left till a lil PLAY ! tab apear.
Me think this should be addessed someday soon, I guess this wont really need lots of coding ...

Great idea. I presume you mean a respawn time like in a fps like counterstrike or ut2004?

Actually,
The most frustrating thing now is when u have a garage full of modded ships, all of which are locked to a planet that is either....
A) In the enemies possession. Fair enough point!
B) Some bloody idiot has scrapped the damn SY on sag hotha, removed all but 10 points of tech, meaning a bloody long wait just to get a shipyard back on the planet, so you can unlock your modded ships that you left at the planet.....
So, SORT THE BLOODY THING OUT, maybe allowing locked ships to use the home faction gate as well, or expect more veteran players to add this to their list of growing frustrations with a once shining example of a game, now tarnished and lacklustre because ppl think realism is enjoyable!

log off outside of a yard and you can be just about anywhere theres a port with any ship you can get in 2 minutes

Doran,
Firstly, u have to do that with every ship, every time, which means, if u use a shipyard and change ship, u then have to come out of the second ship, wait 2 minutes, get the first ship, wait 2 minutes, etc etc....
I dont want to have to do all this, time after time, after time, after flipping time again.......Its just plain boring and frustrating!
Whats worse is, id quite happily take out a stock ship, but if my garage is full, it means sacrificing a fully modded ship, which just frustrates even more. Couple that with the fact its nigh on impossible to find the mod planets these days, coz they keep changing location every other day and you have to look at the factories to tell what kind of mod planet it is, but that doesnt guarantee that it has items in stock, and the so called 'REALISM' factor has struck again and made another element of DS frustrating, hence, unenjoyable!

I have to agree with Dark.
Its so anying when you get on and all of your ships are just locked in planets that have since been caped or have been destroyed via your own team.

maybe a "non mod" check?
that means u take the stock ship out but it doesnt get saved in garage no matter what u do with it???
