I think that you don't have to subscribe to be able to pilot the ships of your rank. i think that in the Newbie server or if there would be another server created, that players above the rank of Leutenant commander should be able to pilot what ever ships their rank alows them to pilot. but in the newbie server you would not be able to pilot a station. If there was another server created, there you would be able to pilot what ever ship your rank allowed. Only this "new server" wouldn't allow people that weren't already past the rank of Leutenant Commander to join. you would have to already be above that rank, and not be able to gain pres points in the newbie server to be able to join.
This server would be free but if you wan'ted to play on the GA server of MV you would have to subscribe. if you happened to get demoted to the rank of Leu commander, you would not be able to join that server untill u subscribed. Plese consider doing this, for it certainly would make this game alot more fun, while keeping the new people in the newbie server untill they subscribe. Also when in the newbie server, you would have to have all the bronze bages and the bronze sirus medal.

okay guys i guess i wasn't all that clear on it. i was just thinking that maybe we people that are unsubbed and above the rank of LT Commander should be able able to play with ships going from Dreadnought down in the Newbie server. i'm not saying i want this game for free, i understand what this game is and how it is run. I just want more ships available to us in the newb server, and maybe, i'm not pushing it, but maybe people above the rank of LT Commander could gain pres a little. just gain pres not ranks.

I don't get the rest of it, only this bit. And its called "DEMO" for a reason. You arn't supposed to be able to fly everything in Demo. Demos are only supposed to give as much of a taste of what the paying customers get as the developer deems neccessary (Or company)
Though I personally wouldn't mind it if dessies were freed up to unsubbers... But thats my personal opinion.

I also agree that everyone over the age of 25 should get a FREE J2X Allard, space shuttle and 10,000,000 Dancers of which ever gender you prefer!

True though, ballsy to state your opinion, even if it does fly against public opinion.
Just need to remember, this is a pay2play game - its servers are maintained by our fees & everything. I think the only mmo space combat game left out there is SS...
