Agreed. Does it work with MIRVs too though?

Yes, bios + ecm = uber most definitely That was the way Kluth blitzed R33 the other night.
And for some reason, bios ignore planet shields. So basically, bios are the best of the best if you have ecm, and the worst of the worst if you don't. And of course if you're just looking to nuke planets rather than cap with minimal engineering needed afterward, they're useless.

I think we can. Has anyone noticed, no matter how low the sig, the cannons on Def Base IIIs fire? I'm guessing it is because of line of sight, but they fire further than the usual 40-50 gu out.

I find it amaizing how people always find a way to exploit. It's like they have some aversion to playing the game the way it was designed to be played. Sure it means a little extra work, perhaps even working together, but come on.

How is it an exploit? An extractor can fit 3 ecm and 10 infantry. I don't see the exploit here? Dirty tactic? Maybe. Effective tactic? Yes. Exploit? I don't think it is, and I don' think it's a bug that's allowing it. Everything about an ecm extractor is allowed by the game. Same as close infantry dropping and ecm bombing. They're not exploits cuz these aren't classified as bugs not to be used. Yet.
EDIT: And you do know all three factions can do it right? This isn't something only 1 faction has access to. And remember the sacrifices those extractors are making. It's not 'uber' to fly, it just has 'uber' results if the whole fleet is cooperating like it should (and which it usually doesn't)

If you could do the same with a ship had armor or weapons, then, yeah, I would be screaming (you can, its just that you need 3 sensor frigates for 1 dread), but since they are extractors? Extractors?
Extractors? Target one and press the space bar a couple times, problem solved.
