I think that the Wormhole should be removed from the Jump Cruiser.

It is IMHO an unfair advantage to the fleet that has it. The other fleets cannot use it tacticaly as the stations move much too slow to do much with it.

It is great for moving the stations around and playing some games with your opponents. Putting it on such an adgile ship makes it into an offensive weapon.

So, either take it off the JC or put it on a Cruiser in ALL factions.

I say remove the wormhole device as it is a disadvantage for ICC
It's hard to fly a ship with a jumpdrive which requires you to stop and takes ages to recharge
Schakal was hunted by a battle cruiser on his bombing run in BD and he couldnt escape

I say leave it in there. Diversity is good. I dont want to play a game where every side gets the same ships, just with different names. And besides, worm holes are pretty damn fun.

It's only a disadvantage to the Jump Cruiser. But then, you only pick the Jump Cruiser because you know it's got the Worm Hole. If you wanted to do a bombing run without risking your escape on a 5 minute wormhole recharge, you'd use the bomber dread.

You assume the risks by choosing the Jump Cruiser, its not an immutable burden placed on your faction as a whole.

@Josef I dont want a slow bomber dread, I want a fast agile cruiser only with PCMs as bombs, I dont need those weak mirvs

Why remove the Jump Cruiser? It's difficult to use but can be great if you do it right. It exists in a slightly different niche than Stations...

Read:

I say remove the wormhole device as it is a disadvantage for me while trying to flat-level innocent Planets alone using some PCM Trick noone else knows but isnt an exploit apparently either.

It's hard to run away from a defending force after you solo bombed a Planet with a Jump Drive which requires you to stop and takes ages to recharge

Schakal, who i showed the Trick, was hunted by a Battle Cruiser while flying around in his strategical Ship (a Jump Cruiser) abusing it for solo Bombing without any Backup in the usual BD System and he coudlnt Escape.

Must be a bit harder to stack without a tach drive as well could this also be part of your issue.

At least one exploit does not work, you cannot open a wormhole to a hostile world and shoot pcms through it which will then bomb the planet without any chance for the def bases to intercept
The PCMs will just pass the wormhole as if it would be simple space
