Turn on the ICC/UGTO alliance flag in all MV servers.
Seriously.....
Right now, they aren't enough players to sustain three way conflicts.
Its just too difficult to get enough people online.
If, however, it was always a two way thing, and you could select whether you started in Sol/(whats the ICC homesystem?), it would be easier.
note: I say this as a Kluth.....
I'm not saying this should be a permenant change, or that this should be the direction the game should take, but it would be fun, and it might stir things up a little bit......
MV is WAY too static----needs a kick in the pants.

Hmm that idea came up very often.. but there are 2 major problmes:
1. The spawning of ICC and UGTO ships would sometimes be in Sol and sometimes in CD36 that would kill me
2. ATM the fleets balance the factions very well. PB would have to go back to K'luth then there would be a reason for it. But ICC really do not need to ally with UGTO.

The only thing that would so would be turning UGTO and ICC into a biggr faction.
It wont give you anything more to kill, it wont make the Mv more active, it wont balance anything, etc.
ICC and UGTO are just as shootable now as they are allied.
That and faction only stuff doesnt work when they are allied

2. I'm not really talking about the balance issues, I'm talking about there not being enough players on the MV.... If there are only 2 factions, instead of 3 factions, the players get divided up less.

as a member of the kluth that enters MV on a regular basis, I.E Whenever im online. I think there is a definate need to increase the usage. One often quoted reason is that it takes forever to rack up pres points etc compared to say FA or Halos servers.
Easy option is Double the pres points in MV. Probably been said before but hey im all for re-inventing the wheel.

The Entire point of a discussion forum is to discuss Suggestions.
And if all I ever do is flame you then all you ever do is suggest things I believe wouldn’t work. (Please note that you've never seen nothing even remotely close to flaming yet...)

Anyway, the entire point why I don’t like your suggestion is because its not going to improve the game in anyway.
the following factions will see these changes:
ICC: Online players doubled from 7 to 14 Enemies they can shoot decreased by 50%. Loss of Pulse Beams/Pulse Shields.
UGTO: Online players doubled from 7 to 14 Enemies they can shoot decreased by 50%. Loss of Flux Cannons and Flux waves.
K’luth: Same amount of enemies, small chance of increased teamwork.
So basically ICC and UGTO will lose their special Tech in exchange for a small increase in online players.
An awfully crappy deal if you ask me.
Also Fighting Humans VS humans is more fun then fighting K’luth, this alliance would prevent that...

Yeah but Whitwolf is suggestiong it as a temp thing right now.
Setting the factions to allies wouldnt to much work but i dont see F fixing the that tech bug for this seeing as hes busy and all.

I agree with the server reduction suggestion. If you cut the size of the MV in half or even more, I think that would increase the level of activity in the MV.
This is the slowest I have ever seen the MV in over a year of playing.
Not a good thing in my view.
