Long jumps + supply ships.
Or, rather than long jump, just be careful when getting your fleet through the gates.

Aye also DONT just click on the target systems star...
you will not be able to jump then.
zoom in on the star and jump some good distance in front of it, you might not see them but the planets ARE there so if you plot a course deep into the system and have the bad luck to go thru a planet its bye bye ship.

It was simple. We used the jump gates.

well i have heard of some poeple abusing the game by simply connecting from their home system to the nearest friendly system and using some kind of connect command. It is against the ROC.

1 bomber(dread size).....1 AC or dictor....3 supplies......equal a few long jumps into either home system....as long as you cap 1 planet for supplies to reload....never have to use a gate.gates simply make it easier IF no enemy in sys or watching em from lobby.....lol.

Lets see...Long Jumping,understandable.
Cap one planet for sources and inf, understandable.
Cap one planet and turn into inf planet with 10 barracks, understandable.
Capping someones Home system and leaving the previous sytem alone just to be a pain in the a**!!.........Priceless.
Whats not to understand?:)

The fact that systems can be skipped is actually a very good tactical idea. For example, sending a vanguard force ahead to fight a delaying action while the main force wreaks havoc on the intended system is a very practical idea of "divide and conquer" that works. Another excellent use of system jumping is just messing up your opponents rear, thus forcing your opponent to split his force up. So please, don't let it be against the rules to not capture and destroy everything in your path.

it wont be ageinst the rules, unless we wanna set up some sort of geniva convention, type thing where the losers will follow it while the winners wont
