I'm sure its probably been suggested before, but are there any plans for faction only forums for mv players. We have fleet only forums, why not faction only?
Atm I have no way to discuss the pros and cons, of say, using sag hotha as a mod planet with others on the same faction. In fact there is little way to coordinate any kind of long term campaign or assualt unless u have a fleet that is big enough to do it on its own.

i think a Faction only forum would be grate. it would also help us who are not on fleets cordanate actions with other ppl of the same faction insted of lobby camping and waiting and watching the MV for someting to happen. also what about a faction only chat you know how you send clan chat you can send faction chat and say something like "hay to any Kluth or ICC or UGTO wana go cap a system"and they can respond
i know this post was about a faction only forum but i thought his idea was so grate it gave me a idea

I think the beta allows you to do just that federation, although I'm not sure it u could talk to ppl in the senario servers.
To expand a bit on the idea, why not split the fleet section of the forums down into icc, kluth and ugto fleets and add a 'general' section to each faction, private to only ppl that are on that faction. It would be open to a little spying of coarse, but it could also allow things like standing orders, notices of any alliances, notes on special planets, etc. It would allow a true 24hr campaign since ppl joining at the end of one battle would know the situation and be able to continue the offensive in the right direction.

I believe it wasnt added in the past because it would be way to much work to do so.
apart from that, its quite worthless. People switch factions a lot in Ds.
You might just as well talk about your tactics in the English forum.
OR get the fleet leaders of your faction to create a demo account and create a fleet with that one. Then ask an admin to create a forum for that fleet. Make this forum private and you can Kick, Recruit fleet leaders as they join your fleet.
^Not a bad idea actually

No forum of that kind for obvious reasons:
- People will just create accounts, join that faction (5 day trial) and look into the boards of their enemies
- Noone will post strategic infos with that danger
- You can hardly plan MV actions, they are usually done more spontanous
