i had a idea what if there was a way to see who was targeting you like if you where in a big battle and during this battle some else fired at you it would tell you who it was becuse they would have you targeting you to do so. so that you can attack the one who is trying to kill you. just my idea comments, alterations to my idea, (flames).

ever play around with shift+e ?
gives you the closest enemy, and by virtue of their being close, they'd be most likely to do damage to you (cept for icc missile dreads and ugto leet carrier dreads)

Not precisely, there comes time when little ships are faster and big ships are smaller... the little ship can get to you quicker then bigger ships. They maybe close but little ships just dont do much damage, meanwhile the Bigger ships pound you senceless at the edge of weapon range.

Why else are Dessie here for?

Edit: by the way, Kluth and UGTO dessie actraully Inflict LETHAL damage, but since they are dangerous and people pay attention to them more, some Siphon or EAD comes right up behind you and Alpha.... Fried again.

So this idea, i kinda like it. Maybe this way, you can find out who is shooting at you the most.

This isn't a bad idea at all. I like it. I constantly find myself always shooting a ship that other people are as well when I take a torpedo volley in my side. Pressing a key or keys is a lot easier then rotating the camera and targeting the guy who shot me.
