these aircraft fly from the ship get within 750-1000 gu of a enemy fleet then it begins jamming the enemy ships sensors clearing the way for strike fighters. however should they fly within visual range they can be shot down
by a Ships AAA batteries at that point it begins fillin up the area where the fighter should be with flak till they hit.
they use Machine Lasers for this

EW - air craft (like b27 etc? cause i like that) say 250 - 750 blocks all sensors except weapons and (seeing the enemy?). Kluth have best icc second best ugto third best

id love to see flak cannons in this game.. maybe automated on the ships hull that would just rule..

EW aircraft are used by humans and kluth.
UGTO Jams more ships more effectively ICC can Jam from longer range and kluth EW have very low sig allowing them to get very close without detection
this should give each factions EW planes their own advantages.
now for the disadvantages.
Kluth EW Aircraft range is around 400-300 gu ,the shortest EW range of all the faction,ICC EW aircraft are the easiest to kill,and UGTO EW aircraft are average
the ranges for EW are as follow
ICC:1000 gu
UGTO:800gu
Kluth:400-300 gu (they can make it easily within effective range undetected so no worries).
also all EW aircraft are armed with weapons but these are for defense against enemy fighters although they can be targeted for enemy ships. its very unrecommended cause all u would do is make a black spot on the paintjob.

actually i already allotted plans for Wild Weasels and scouts as a later added some time after the new fighters...
Dont want to do all at once or there is nothing to look forward to.

altho i think flak cannons would rock if they were put on dreads.. itl give more protection from those pesky uggy dreads

I think that whit the new fighters we realy need some increased AA.
for you EW aircraft isnt that what the frigate class is supposed to be?
no big guns but good equipment

the EW aircraft is a smaller target so its very hard to hit i agree with the flak gun idea.
And no the frigate isn't a EW ship it doesn't jam their sensors like my EW aircraft is supposed to do.
a frigate is a light ship made either for scouting or combat for the early part of a scenario server (till destroyers can be built).
