Please add this command:
/server (*ID*) member

This would be the same like room member, just would display everyone who is logged onto a server, just to check who is on FA or who is currently in BD or who is in sirius, and so on

I know that with the beta, it lists the ships of your faction that are in the MV(enemy ships only listed, I think if they are visible to your faction), maybe this information could be made available on the website.

Already exists in a different form and is moderator only.
Like already written above, using this command you could locate enemy ships you can't see -> NO!.

It might be a good command for FA though? At least we'd be able to see who's on FA so we could flame them for not responding to the MV when their faction needs them!

well make it more general then. as it is, if you have someone on your friends list you can see what server they're in. would be nice to know who all is on a particular server (or for the entire mv, rather than just one mv sub-server)
ie, you could see that player1, playerA and playernoob are the only people on the mv (and maybe group players by faction) but it wouldnt say what system they're in..

basically, a way for a player to get a players list from a server like

*Darkspace - Fleet Admial has 5 players online
playersname1 (@id) K'luth
playersname2 (@id) K'luth
playersname3 (@id) ICC
playersname4 (@id) ICC
playersname4 (@id) UGTO
*end of players list

guess what im trying to say is that you could have a feature like this (so many other games have similer functions), without making it so that a player could use it to find those cloaked kluth players hanging out in the procyon system on the mv (since that seems to be the principle objection)

I like being able to see who is on a server.

I dont care what faction they are on, if they are enemy, i shoot.

I just want to know who is in that server.

And Chromix, I dont think swirl meant seeing the ships in-game, just who is in there.
