Since the kluth wont be able to mount CL2K's .... I ask that the Humans can no longer mount antimatter based technology.
The only response I will take seriously is that From Faustus Himself. Pleas elet me know your thoughts on this subject.

Its sorta unfair though, having someone "steal" your technology but you cant get even by "stealing" thier technology back

Many people have said this, and simply refuse to take into account the reason K'luth are losing CL2000's. They overpower the ships.
Look at Anti-matter technology. What does that do to human ships? We get a few less seconds on our JD's, and get some extra energy for our weapons. What exactly gives us a huge advantage to our ships on the same level that CL2000's gave the K'luth.
PS - I'm quite happy with my PFE's, thank you. They provide only one less energy then AME's anyways.

From what I've been hearing lately, all tech will be faction specific, so that solves the Anti-Matter tech problem.

You do realize that this means Kluth will loose other tech, that you might call valuable?
Like f torps, for one.
And heavy armor (thats ugto)
And emp weapons
And sabots
And nuke mines/emp mines
And it missiles
You know what? I like having access to the am-tech. But if I had to trade access to am-tech in exchange for the above being restricted to the humans? Fine by me.
We still have pfe, and afe drives. You get stuck with the worst torpedos, and are forced to choose between psi missiles, or psi cannons, for all your weapon slots.
You get to jump faster than us.
And you won't be able to refit your smaller ships up to heavy armor.
I think that puts us ahead.
From a fairness perspective, this is bad for you. You don't want this.
From a balance perspective, this is bad for you. You don't want this.

Gee, Dem .... so as long as everyone feels the same way as you do there shouldnt be any sarcasm ? Anything posted not inline with your opinions gets flamed at the same time your posting things asking everyone ELSE to be neutral.
Why not practice what you preach and keep it to a civilized discussion or dont participate. I for one think most of your posts are one-sided in the opposite direction as mine., and if you have noticed I quit with my flaming.
But since my vacation to the UGTO Side I have attempted to keep my arguments civil because I did happen to make friends with prior enemies.
My reasoning is that you cant have it both ways. You said it yourself that cannons in the beta appear to be more powerful than thier current counterparts. Not many guns on kluth ships, and all we are getting out of this so called ballance patch is degraded. I havent seen one post yet from anyone that is a positive change for the kluth. And I have missed something, then i appologize.
The only thing changing (im aware of) is the removal of multiple flux waves. Hey Id call that a fantastic move, not from a ballance issue but from an FF issue. During our time as UGTO, and Im sure you can agree that flux does more dammage to your own team than anyone else. And as far as the ICC are concerned, this patch will in my opinion make THEM unbalanced, but hey it will just make me try somethig different until I find what works against them.
It just appears to me that there is more going for the Human factions than there is for the Kluth. Id be happy if Faustus nerfed the whole cross faction tech ability all together.

Personally i prefer option C,
once again everyone can use everything, notice how 5 CL2000 Claws werent a problem when humans mounted ELF Beams? seemed more balanced when everyone had everything, but then some of you havent been here long enough to know that so your forgiven for your mis-givings
but seriously, i knew this would come up, if we cant, you cant sort of thing,
why bother arch?
personally i believe it should be all or nothing, no compromises, no pick and mix, etc.

u guys also realise u will lose the 2 things that we as kluth dessie pilots fear the most.
PSI Missiles
AM Torps
I would quite happily go for faction specific tech.
Also, Hvy armour comes as standard on all our ships, so we dont lose there. What we lose is as follows
CL2k/CL1k - Losing these already, so no lose
Nuke/EMP Mines - Guess we go back to using AM Mines then
Sabot Rockets - Only ever used on a Ganglia
EMP Cannon - Only ever used on a Ganglia
The only piece of tech that we would actually miss is MIRVs, believe it or not, as thats the only tech we find useful, now that we are losing Cl2ks
