Please make it so that the creator of a private chatroom becomes a moderator and can kick/ban people from that private room.

Get to work chromix

Call on a moderator, Thats what we are here for...Also, you won't have to deal with that if you create a private room and dont give out the password...

Thats silly you shouldn't have to find a moderator everytime you want to kick someone out of your room. It's like this in almost every game system and IRC network.

No reason why we shouldn't have it here.

Its a private room. Thus, only people who you WANT to be in there and then give the password to can enter.

And the most power I could possibly see giving people in this situation is the ability to remove someone from the room, but nothing further - no removing from the servers or anything.

But don't get your hopes up.

IF it does have a PW, its still considered a public room, but if it is a private room, it has a password, the only people that will be able to get into said room without the password is the staff.

No what is silly is having people come into your PRIVATE room. That you don't want them coming into. Now that's silly...

That's why it is called a private room, you have a password for that reason...

Send out the password to the people who you do want to come in. If some one is being a jerk that you let in. THen contact a moderator or if you don't want to do that. Fine leave the room and make another rooom WITH a Different Password.
You just solved your problem and you're still in control...
I guess this is to hard for you to do? Took all of what 10 seconds at most to do...

You can have everyone also put the trouble maker on your ignore list to. Then you won't see anything he/she types.
You can also go make your own irc chat room and chat that way if you want to do that. Then you can self elect yourself as a MOD or whatever.

Your choices you decide what to do next.

Clarification is needed, a seperate, but public chatroom is what I refer to here. A place where some of us can talk as we like and not under direct rule of the people with panzy ears. Some of us don't like reading the useless banter of emotes and other stupid crap that some people talk about all day.

Not to mention it'd be nice to be able to set which chatroom you enter by default.

Seeing as even AOL chatrooms are like this I don't see why we can't have this power. It's not much to ask.

so your going to kick everyone out that does a emote?

I don't see your room becoming popular. no I dont' like all the emotes either but that's life. We also have rules of people who emote to much. called emote spaming and they get kicked or muted...

I still don't see your problem with making your own pritvate room?

Use the tools you have here.
