Ok, I'm not sure if this is a bug or just how the game is, but I am bringing it up as a concern.
Right now, if you are flying your ship and you want to stop or slow down, you hold the "Throttle Down" button until your desired speed reaches the point you want. Only once you let go of the button will your ship actually start to slow down. Now if I'm going from 30 to 0 it takes about 2 seconds to reach the desired 0 throttle speed. That's 2 seconds after I tell my ship to slow down before it starts to slow down.
I think that as soon as your desired throttle setting is lower than your actual speed, you should start to slow down. Even if the desired setting is still being lowered, you should already be slowing down.

Tap whatever button you use to increase speed. Works for me.

I tend to click on the throttle gauge with my mouse in those situations, it gets/slows you moving, then use the keys.

I realize that there are several ways to do it. But the easiest and fastest way is to hold down the throttle button until it gets to where you want it. Problem is, when you are in a scout for example and it takes 4-5 seconds to go from 0 to full speed, that's a significant delay. I'd just like this fixed.
