Currently with the Clan chat Fleet recruits CAN Read the chat but cant reply.
Perhaps clans could be given an option in their fleets options menu on what recruits would be able todo?
I would like my recruits to be able to send and recieve clan chat while some clans might want to disable both.

i think it shud be disabled recruits ar not part of the fleet yet

Well some fleets might feel diffrent about that.

Regretably, I know
Of a certain player that
Got wind of this knowledge and
Used it to spy on the
Enemies of his Clan.
Saying "Let me back in, in an hour or so" to the
Players of his clan, he quit and
Established himself as a recruit in
Another factions clan, with that clan never
Realizing that he was a recruit.
Having joined, this player was
Allowed to eves drop on the
Secret plans of the enemy Clan.
Illegal? Well, maybe there are some who would
Say so, but I don't think it is my place to
Spill the name of this player.
Unfortunately, it is a good example of how players can
Exploit the design of the game and the
Spirit of the game without actually cheating.

i think the admins of a fleet may have controle over if a recruit may have acces to the clan chat
and default it is off to avoid spy's
