Donno if this has ever came up be4 but in other space games I've noticed some sort of ship insurance.

I was woundering if any1 would like the idea of introducing an insurance for your ship that covers you fully. So if your ship got destroyed you would get back all the money that you have spent on the ship.
Insurance would cost 1000 credits per day.

So.... any1 got any feedback?

I dont think it would be effective.

they insure a station fully modded for 1k and charge in then they get i back insure it again and go in AGAIN..

besides whit the changes coming up i doubt you will get killed.

1. Beacons only amplify the signature. they CANNOT track you to the other end of a system anymore * unless they get close *

2. you can jump even when your flying 25Gu. so your allignment time is reduced A LOT making escape much easier

any questions?

No more killing K'luth.
They can now jump in and out at any speed. The beacon wont allow you to follow them.

You didnt like to die? Just wait! :'(

Anyhow i like the idea of an insurance, modding costs are 3x times as high as my income.

actually, what was NOT mentioned was that the faster you go, the more "random" you may jump out at. IE, you can be going 30 gus/second, do a jump, but you wont know where you jump out.
